Ultrasound procedures
- Performs breast, vascular, pelvic, abdominal, Echocardiogram, thyroid, carotid all small parts lower and upper arterial, transvaginal, transabdominal, Venous reflux, DVT, renal AAA, Duplex for diagnosing PAD, procedures according to department standard in a timely and efficient manner
- Produces examinations that meet image quality standards in accordance to department protocols. Submits images for physician interpretation
Record documentation
- Verifies accuracy of patient demographic information, pertinent clinical diagnosis, and required technical results
- Data must be entered accurately and in a timely fashion to provide optimal patient care. Verifies all technical data entry components are complete prior to the end of shift
- Looking for someone to perform job functions while modeling service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to patients, families, co-workers and others
Patient education
- Provides patient education in the form of written material and/or verbal explanation prior to, during and subsequent to the procedure in order to reduce the patient’s anxiety and enhance comfort zone with respect to tolerance of the procedure
Qualifications:
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification is mandatory
- RDMS
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $150.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Anatomy knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
- Documentation review: 2 years (Required)
- Medical imaging: 4 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Required)
