Job Description
A leading healthcare technology management provider is seeking a
highly skilled Imaging Service Engineer II to join the team at a major healthcare facility in
Philadelphia, PA. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in diagnostic imaging equipment service and repair within a hospital or healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of diagnostic imaging equipment and systems.
- Calibrate and ensure the operational readiness of imaging devices (e.g., Cath Lab, C-Arms, Ultrasound).
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, hospital policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support for equipment directly involved in patient care.
- Interact routinely with clinical teams to identify and resolve technology-based issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation and service reports.
- Order parts and manage service costs responsibly.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience/military training).
- 5+ years of experience in imaging equipment maintenance and repair in a healthcare environment.
- Strong background in troubleshooting and servicing Cath Lab, C-Arms, and Ultrasound equipment.
- Solid customer service, time management, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and make informed decisions regarding medical imaging devices.
