Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS) - Full Time

Location: Merced, CA - Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Facility
Pay: $33.00 - $55.00 per hour
El Portal Imaging Center is seeking a Full Time Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Merced, California.

Our team of board-certified radiologists, experienced technologists, and dedicated support staff work together to provide accurate, timely, and compassionate care to our patients and referring physicians.
The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with internal protocols, established professional standards, credentialing requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines. The technologist will provide complete and accurate imaging studies for interpretation by the attending Radiologist while ensuring exceptional patient care and service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders, internal protocols, and professional standards.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and clear communication throughout the exam.
- Acquire high-quality diagnostic images and ensure studies are complete, accurate, and properly documented.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment, exam rooms, and supplies.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and administrative staff to maintain efficient workflow and excellent patient care.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives and departmental activities.
- Maintain flexibility to work at multiple El Portal Imaging Center locations as needed to support operational needs and patient scheduling.
Required Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound training program
- Ultrasound clinical experience required
- Ability to perform a wide variety of general diagnostic ultrasound exams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
