Position Summary
Advance Community Healthcare is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN, Women's Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team in Raleigh, NC. This Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care and clinical support to patients receiving obstetric and gynecologic services. This role supports providers in delivering compassionate, culturally competent care while ensuring clinical excellence, patient education, and care coordination in a community health clinic environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide patients with telephonic triage and medical advice.
- Assist providers with OB/GYN exams, procedures, and treatments.
- Conduct patient intake, assessments, and vital signs.
- Provide prenatal, postpartum, and women’s health education.
- Administer medications and immunizations per clinical protocols.
- Coordinate referrals, follow-up care, and diagnostic testing.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR.
- Support infection control, safety standards, and quality initiatives.
- Serve as a patient advocate and promote continuity of care.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher), Associate's Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program is required.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in good standing with North Carolina.
- Active BLS Certification.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of women’s health, OB/GYN, or maternal health experience preferred.
- Experience working in a community health or outpatient setting preferred.
- Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records system preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and patient education skills
- Commitment to health equity and community-based care
