Quality Staffing Specialist are currently searching for Vascular Technologist to work in the Peripheral Vascular Lab.
A peripheral vascular lab uses non-invasive tests, such as Doppler ultrasound and the Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI), to measure and evaluate blood flow in arteries and veins outside the heart and brain. These tests help diagnose conditions like peripheral artery disease (PAD), which involves blocked or narrowed arteries in the limbs, by assessing blood flow, detecting blockages, and identifying issues with blood circulation.
Job Summary:
- Must have 4 years of recent Vascular Tech experience
- Performs vascular ultrasound evaluations with Doppler and physiologic testing
- Writes preliminary reports and communicates acute findings to care team
- Obtains pertinent patient health history prior to examination
- Prepares procedure room and equipment for daily use and is responsible for timely and efficient room preparation between procedures.
- Troubleshoots and identifies any equipment problems and reports to appropriate supervisor.
Location: Raleigh, NC
Rate: $2,320/weekly (travel rate, must reside >60 miles from facility)
$2,040/weekly (local rate, if you reside <60 miles from facility)
Shifts Available: Days: 8:00am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday), 5x8 hour shifts
Scheduling Requirements:
- Length of contract: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 40
- Holidays: every other required
- No Weekends
- No Call
Credential Requirements:
- Resume reflecting all experience & explanation of gaps in employment more than 30 days
- Associate degree in Sonography, Radiology or related field
- Must have one of the following:
- ARDMS/RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)
- CCI/RVS - Registered Vascular Specialist (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
- ARRT/VS - Vascular Sonographer (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist)
