Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Ultrasound Technician (ARDMS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience performing a variety of ultrasound procedures in a clinical or diagnostic setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician requests.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring images are of diagnostic quality.
- Review and prepare images for interpretation by radiologists or physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Current ARDMS certification (OB/GYN, Abdomen, Vascular, or other specialties preferred).
- Education: Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
