Our Beverly Hills location is seeking a full-time, experienced Ultrasound Technician to join our growing team. This is a temporary position scheduled to run from March through September.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations
- Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record and adapt procedures
- Uses independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathological findings
- Analyses sonograms, synthesize information, medical history, and communicates findings to the appropriate physician
- Responsible for the safety, mental, physical comfort of patients while they are in the sonographer' care
- Coordinates with other staff to assure appropriate patient care is provided
- Recognize and record appropriate anatomy and physiology using sonographic equipment
- Present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the clinical nurses
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in fertility or OB/GYN required.
- Associate of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- 1-2 years of hands-on ultrasound experience
- OB/GYN scans, including follicular scans, complete pelvic scans and 1st trimester OB experience preferred.
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
