United Diagnostic Services is the nation's leading provider of first responder-based preventive health screenings. Along with a medical team of trained professionals, you will contribute to helping first responders that need us the most! These screening services are designed to help provide our participant to become more aware of their health risk factors early so they can take proactive steps towards maintaining or improving their health through lifestyle changes or under continued care with their physician.
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you'll work autonomously to provide every participant with a positive experience at each screening event while you perform scans of the carotid arteries, abdominal aorta, echocardiogram, general abdominal organs, pelvic and small parts exams. You'll work collaboratively and efficiently with your team, setting up and taking down equipment at the start and end of each screening event, and properly disinfecting equipment between participants. The safety and health of our participants and teams are extremely important to us.
Screening events are scheduled in advance Monday thru Friday (sometimes Saturdays) during day shift hours and are not held on holidays or Sundays. Plenty of opportunities for overtime! Please note this job requires you to travel outside of NY to other areas of the country.
Depending on the screening event location, hotel and travel expenses are provided by the company.

Major Responsibilities:
- Perform scans of carotid arteries, abdominal aorta, echocardiogram, general abdominal organs, pelvic, and small parts studies during scheduled screening events.
- Obtain medical history and explain the areas of scan to each participant.
- Keen to work in a fast-paced work environment where a passion for helping others, as well as accuracy performing tests that are held at the highest form of excellency.
- Providing a high standard of clinical quality, patient care and customer service.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program
- Certified RDMS or CCI licensed
- 1-3 years of clinical and patient care
- Passion to create and maintain a positive environment for fellow team members and participant throughout the screening events.
