Responsibilities
- Perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations with precision, ensuring clear visualization of fetal development, maternal anatomy, and related structures.
- Apply advanced sonography techniques to capture detailed images, adhering to aseptic procedures and safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with physicians specializing in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics/gynecology to interpret findings and support diagnostic decisions.
- Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, images, and patient information in accordance with hospital policies and medical terminology standards.
- Educate patients about procedures, addressing questions with clear communication skills while providing compassionate support throughout their visit.
- Ensure all imaging equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and operated using best practices in medical imaging and diagnostic radiology.
- Uphold strict infection control standards through proper aseptic technique to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience in obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound imaging, with a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with maternal-fetal medicine principles and the ability to identify normal versus abnormal fetal development.
- Knowledge of sonography equipment operation, diagnostic radiology standards, and medical imaging best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Prior experience working in a clinical setting where patient care is prioritized alongside technical proficiency is highly desirable.
- Certification as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent credential is preferred.

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
