Ultrasound Sonographer – OB/GYN

Northwestern Women’s Health Associates, a busy OB/GYN practice located in downtown Chicago, is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. This is a temporary, 12-week position beginning in November 2025, with the opportunity to remain on a PRN basis thereafter.
Position Details
- Specialty: Must have experience in OB/GYN ultrasound (first trimester, second/third trimester growth scans, biophysical profiles, gynecologic ultrasounds, etc.).
- Schedule: Temporary full-time or part-time for 12 weeks starting in November. Following the temporary assignment, the position may continue PRN (as needed) or with a set day per week depending on mutual availability.
- Flexibility: We welcome candidates who may already be employed elsewhere and are seeking PRN or one consistent day per week.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic OB and GYN ultrasounds in accordance with physician orders.
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout the imaging process.
- Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging results.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with OB/GYN specialty required.
- Minimum 1–2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
