Position: Ultrasound Technologist / Senior Ultrasound Technologist

Job Type: Full-time (various shifts available)
Shift Details:
- Ultrasound Technologist: 32-40 hours per week, day or night shifts.
- Senior Ultrasound Technologist: 40 hours per week, evening shift.
As an Ultrasound Technologist or Senior Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform diagnostic medical sonograms (general and vascular) with minimal supervision. You will provide quality patient care across a range of patient age groups (neonatal to geriatric), communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams, and support department goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures in general and vascular imaging.
- Deliver optimal assessment and diagnostic imaging for patients of all ages.
- Collaborate closely with Radiologists, providers, and clinical staff to ensure quality care.
- Assist the Core Leader in meeting department goals and objectives.
- Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCERT) or equivalent.
- National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or National Registered Technologist - Sonography (NRST).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ultrasound Technologist: Minimum 2 years' experience preferred.
- Senior Ultrasound Technologist: Minimum 3 years' experience required; 5 years preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional experience in vascular ultrasound.
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
