Summary
The primary purpose of your job is to perform all patient exams with the highest degree of skill, fully utilizing all echocardiography equipment to consistently obtain images that demonstrate diagnostic levels of contrast and resolution. You will respond to on-demand requests for services in a timely manner.

Essential Functions
- Demonstrates commitment to performing a high-quality diagnostic echocardiogram.
- Adheres to all echo laboratory protocols/procedures.
- Is proficient with all applicable equipment and functionality.
- Understands reason for echo and tailors the echocardiogram appropriately.
- Demonstrates knowledge of pathology as assessed by echocardiography.
- Evaluate any contraindications, insufficient patient preparation, and the patient’s inability or unwillingness to tolerate the examination and associated procedures.
- Recognizes when there are critical findings which require urgent read/interv

Associate's Degree required

Licenses and Credentials
Certified Echo Technician - Data Conversion - Various Issuers required
Experience
- Completion of an Associate’s Degree or Certificate from a recognized Echocardiography Program or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
- CPR/BLS certification is also required.
- RDCS (AE and/or PE) certification by the ARDMS/CCI.
- 1-2 years clinical and/or professional experience preferred.
- Experience with both adults and pediatrics is preferred.
