Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing critical diagnostic evaluations to assist in patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as proficiency in various sonographic techniques.

Duties

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to interventional cardiology and interventional radiology procedures.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to assess patient conditions and provide accurate diagnostic evaluations.
Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge to ensure precise imaging.
Monitor vital signs and ensure patient comfort throughout the examination process.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols while conducting procedures in the cath lab or emergency medicine settings.
Document findings accurately and communicate results effectively to the medical team.
Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on advancements in sonography practices.

Requirements

Proficiency in sonography with experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center preferred.
Knowledge of cardiac catheterization, telemetry, and emergency medicine practices is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and aseptic technique.
Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
