Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vascular Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vascular imaging and diagnostics, with the ability to perform high-quality sonography and diagnostic evaluations. This role is crucial in supporting interventional procedures and providing accurate assessments for patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Perform non-invasive vascular studies using ultrasound technology to assess blood flow and vascular health.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including but not limited to carotid duplex scans, venous studies, and abdominal aortic evaluations.
Maintain proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge relevant to vascular technology.
Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques during procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
Monitor vital signs of patients during examinations and assist in emergency situations as needed.
Document findings accurately in patient records and communicate results effectively with the medical team.
Stay updated on advancements in interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, and telemetry practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center is preferred.
Familiarity with cath lab procedures and emergency medicine practices is highly desirable.
Knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques and their application within the vascular field is beneficial.
Experience with sonography equipment and diagnostic evaluation methods is essential.
