Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasonographer a concierge endocrinology practice with a focus on thyroid exams. Bright Endocrinology opened August 2024 and is steadily growing. Currently, ultrasound is needed once a month and as the practice grows this position will expand to twice a month. The ideal candidate will have experience with thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer as well as experience assisting with FNA. The Ultrasonographer will work closely with the physician to deliver accurate diagnostic information that aids in patient treatment and management.
Responsibilities
- Perform specific neck ultrasound examinations, including Thyroid, Cervical Lymph nodes and Parathyroid Glands.
- Utilize medical imaging equipment to capture high-resolution images for diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of ultrasound procedures and findings, adhering to medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with physicians to discuss imaging results and contribute to the diagnostic process.
- Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Skills
- Proficient in medical imaging techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of neck & thyroid anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour
