We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our Forest Hills, Queens practice. In this role, you will perform high-quality imaging, assist clinicians during ultrasound-guided procedures, and ensure accurate and timely reporting. As an integral member of our patient-centered care team, you will help deliver a seamless and welcoming healthcare experience.

Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, per diem, Saturdays only
Department: Sonography
Report to: Sonography Team Leader/Supervisor
Hours: Part-time with the opportunity to move to full-time
Schedule: Must be flexible to work Saturdays from 7am to 5pm
Location: Must be willing to train in our Forest Hills location

Responsibilities:

Must be able to evaluate image quality and interpretation
Assist clinician during certain procedures that may require ultrasound guidance
Be able to complete reports in a timely manner
Stocks all rooms with equipment/materials needed daily
Adheres to company cleanliness policy
Assists other team members as needed
Communicate directly with the supervisor about any issues or problems that may arise promptly

Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited sonography program
One/Two years OBGYN related experience
Registry eligible
Some EMR knowledge or can quickly adapt
Excellent written/oral communication skills
Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy environment
Knowledge and proper use of medical terminology
Ability to multi-task efficiently/effectively
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Assist clinician during certain procedures that may require ultrasound guidance
Must be able to evaluate image quality and interpretation
Some computer knowledge
Must have a flexible schedule
