Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis while providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, along with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment when necessary.
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss imaging results and patient care plans.
- Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and techniques.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the imaging department.
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to sonography.
- Experience or training in diagnostic radiology and medical imaging techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and medical staff.
- Ability to provide excellent patient care while performing sonographic examinations.
- Familiarity with Ob/Gyn procedures is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in Sonography from an accredited program is required.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not essential for entry-level candidates.

Pay: $75.47 - $83.00 per hour
