Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) to join a leading clinical team. This role involves performing advanced OB/GYN sonographic imaging to support high-risk pregnancy care in both ambulatory and clinical settings.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MFM ultrasound imaging and a patient-focused approach to care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex OB/GYN ultrasound procedures following established protocols
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of pregnancy-related conditions
- Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
- Educate patients and families about procedures and expectations
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards
- Ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of ultrasound equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound experience (REQUIRED)
Certifications
- BLS (AHA only)
- ARDMS certification
- ARDMS OB/GYN (OB) required
- Fetal Echocardiography (FE) preferred but not required
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of OB/GYN and high-risk pregnancy imaging
- Ability to perform exams independently and efficiently
- Excellent patient communication and care skills
- Experience with both ambulatory and clinical settings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
