Travel Ultrasound Technologist – Decorah, IA | WinnMed Hospital | 13-Week Travel Contract | $2,800–$2,950+/Week Consulting Elevada is urgently seeking an experienced Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a rewarding 13-week assignment at WinnMed (Winneshiek Medical Center) in beautiful Decorah, Iowa. WinnMed is Iowa’s third-largest Critical Access Hospital and the most specialized facility in the region. Their state-of-the-art Medical Imaging/Radiology department handles a full range of general, vascular, OB/GYN, and small-parts ultrasounds in a supportive, modern environment.
Assignment Details
- Location: Decorah, IA (WinnMed Hospital – 901 Montgomery Street)
- Duration: 13 weeks (strong possibility of extension)
- Shift: Days – 5x8 hours
- Start Date: Mid May
- Weekly Pay: $2,800–$2,950+ (based on experience)
- (Includes taxable hourly rate + tax-free housing & meal stipends)
Requirements
- ARDMS (RDMS) certification required (registry-eligible candidates strongly considered)
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Minimum 1–2 years recent hospital-based ultrasound experience
- BLS (American Heart Association) required
- Comfortable with general, abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small-parts scans
- Must pass background check, drug screen, and WinnMed credentialing
