Job Summary And Qualifications
The Diagnostic Imaging Manager will manage the administrative, informational, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, clinical performance compliance, and operational functions of the Diagnostic Radiology Department.
What You Will Do In This Role
- Assist the Director in establishing and meeting long-term goals and objectives for the department.
- Manage and assist supervisory and staff level personnel.
- Represent Medical Imaging on internal and external committees.
- Serve as a resource for daily issues within the department.
- Assist in the development of department-wide operating, capital and FTE budgets.
- Responsible for the efficient use of hospital resources.
- Responsible for Policy and Procedure Development for all areas of responsibility.
- Responsible for maintenance of TJC Standards.
- Responsible for the management of human resources to include hiring, coaching and counseling, and disciplining.
- Assume responsibility for employee, physician, and patient satisfaction for quality care.
- Promote Hospital Customer Service Initiatives.
- Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Current ARRT R.T. (R) required.
- 5 years of experience in Medical Imaging required.
- Prior leadership experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
