Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Ultrasound Technologist located in Houston, TX. The Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures, including vascular studies, to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety, and accurately documenting findings. The role requires collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Certification in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Strong knowledge and experience in Medicine and Radiology
- Expertise in performing Vascular studies and other ultrasound procedures
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field is preferred
- CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus
