We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sonographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical imaging and anatomy, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care through precise diagnostic procedures. This role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to community health by providing vital imaging services in a collaborative setting.

This person’s schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across various specialties, including obstetrics, gynecology, and general imaging, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and support diagnosis.
Maintain detailed patient records, documenting procedures and findings in compliance with hospital policies and medical regulations.
Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain patient safety.
Educate patients about procedures, addressing questions and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
Operate advanced sonography equipment, troubleshooting technical issues promptly to minimize delays.
Stay current with emerging imaging technologies and best practices through ongoing professional development.

Proficiency in maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), and general medical imaging techniques.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to sonography.
Experience with diagnostic radiology principles and the use of ultrasound equipment for various clinical applications.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to apply aseptic techniques diligently to prevent infections during procedures.
Familiarity with patient care principles, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
