Ghost RX is searching for a Ultrasound Technologist to work at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center located in Portland, OR
Shifts: 5x 8hr shifts with rotating call
Compensation:
$3,688/ week for travelers 50 miles or farther from the Portland VAMC
Required
- ARDMS (AB) + 2 other specialties for a TOTAL OF 3 (ex: AB, OB, RVT)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
o Must have worked within a hospital within the last 6 months
o Must have worked within a hospital lab setting as a Vascular Ultrasound Tech in the last six months.
o Demonstrate expertise in ultrasounds of scrotum, pelvis and U/S guided biopsy, including liver and renal biopsies of native and transplanted organs, renal artery stenosis and renal Doppler.
Duties * Complete abdomen / Right Upper Quadrant Abdomen
- Complete Abdomen / Right Upper Quadrant Abdomen with Dopplers Renal (native kidney and transplant kidney)
- Transplant kidney with Dopplers
- Renal artery imaging – native kidney
- Post-operative endovascular AAA follow-up with duplex scan
- GYN scanning (trans abdominal / trans vaginal)
- Small parts scanning – thyroid, scrotal, extremity
