Job Description
The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing diagnostic examinations using sonography. The Ultrasound Technologist is also responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). The Ultrasound Technologist always maintains a high standard of medical ethics and is self-motivated to increase the level of understanding and knowledge of the field and new procedures as they evolve.
Education and Experience
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Registered by the American Registry of Medical Diagnostic Sonography (ARMDS)or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist(ARRT)(S)
- BLS certification
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the field is strongly preferred

Hours
8:30 – 5:00, Monday – Friday
Location
Will work in CareSouth's Bennettsville and McColl, SC offices.
