Pacific Mobile Diagnostics (PMD) is seeking to add to our team, an Echo Technologist to travel in their designated geographical territory and surrounding areas to service customers in a variety of settings including long-term care, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, home health care, and other locations as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs all requested radiographic examinations as ordered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform exams on patients in accordance with established PMD protocols and complies with accreditation standards.
- Prepares requisition and patient history (includes study performed, number of views, physician, insurance info) and contacts referring physicians when required, according to established procedures. Verify script.
- Coordinates with other staff to assure appropriate patient care is provided.
- Organizes daily work schedule and performs related clerical duties as required.
- Maintains assigned equipment and vehicles in proper working order.
- Interacts with multiple nursing homes and home health staff with professionalism represents the mobile service industry in a positive manner.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and patients and gain their trust and respect.
- Be dedicated to providing outstanding customer service to our customers and their patients.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in all areas.
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
- Additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrate current competency and skills by documentation of BS, AS degree, or certification in Echocardiograms (either through ARDMS or CCI).
