American Traveler is seeking an experienced Sonographer for a 13-week acute care contract with strong echocardiography skills and required certifications.
- Work in an acute care setting specializing in echocardiography
- Day shift, 10 hour shifts scheduled
- 13-week contract assignment
- Utilizes Cerner as the EMR system
- Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required
- Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted
- BLS (AHA) and RDCS certification required
- Experience with Cerner preferred
- Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one supervisor or peer from within the last 3 years including employment dates and rehire eligibility
- Expectation to perform advanced echocardiography procedures in an acute environment
- 12 hours of orientation provided
- May be required to float within appropriate clinical scope if facility policy applies
