Position Summary:
The Sonographer performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while providing safe, age-appropriate patient care. This role requires independent judgment, strong technical skills, and the ability to operate imaging equipment efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound exams per departmental protocols
- Obtain accurate, high-quality diagnostic images
- Properly position patients and operate ultrasound equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Demonstrate accountability, dependability, and teamwork
- Independently perform assigned job functions
Requirements:
- Certification: ARDMS or ARRT-S
- Experience: Minimum 1 year
- BLS: AHA or American Red Cross
- Flexibility to meet department scheduling needs
