Join Our Night Shift Imaging Team Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist to provide overnight imaging coverage at Baylor Scott & White College Station Medical Center . This night-shift role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus , a consistent Sunday-Thursday schedule, and the opportunity to work independently while supporting emergency and inpatient diagnostic imaging needs.
What You?ll Do -
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations following established protocols and physician orders.

Produce high-quality sonographic images for accurate interpretation.

Communicate effectively with patients using AIDET principles , ensuring comfort and understanding during overnight exams.

Prepare and position patients appropriately; adjust imaging equipment for optimal results.

Maintain strict adherence to infection control, patient safety, and sterile technique standards.

Maintain ultrasound equipment and work areas; report malfunctions promptly.

Verify exam orders, patient history, pregnancy screening, shielding, and consent documentation.

Accurately document exams and maintain records within PACS and EMR systems .

Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and overnight clinical teams to support efficient patient care.

Participate in call rotation if required.

Qualifications -
Education: Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program

Experience: Hospital ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates welcome

Certification / Licensure:

ARDMS certification required in:
-
RDMS (AB - Abdomen)

RDMS (OB/GYN)

Additional ARDMS credentials (RVT, RDCS) preferred but not required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 30 days of hire)
