An opportunity is available for a skilled ultrasound imaging professional in Yoakum, TX. This contract position focuses on general ultrasound imaging with a strong emphasis on pediatrics, obstetrics, vascular, and general ultrasound experience. The role requires an immediate start and dedication to providing high-quality imaging services in a busy healthcare environment.
Qualifications And Desired Experience
- ARDMS Registered
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- Experience in Pediatric, Obstetric, Vascular, and General Ultrasound imaging
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Medhost and Carestream
- Ability to work within a patient ratio of 8-10 per 12-hour shift
- Flexible to adhere to scheduling requirements including weekly call rotation and call every 4th weekend
Schedule And Hours
- Day shift: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Weekly call rotation with call responsibilities every 4th weekend
- No 48-hour shifts or block scheduling
- Maximum requested time off: 3 days

- Perform ultrasound imaging accurately and efficiently across multiple specialties
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation within EMR systems
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure patient care standards
- Respond promptly when on call to provide diagnostic imaging as needed

- Candidates must be located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify
