Hiring - OB/GYN Sonographer in Terre Haute, IN 47807
Duration - 13 Weeks
Shift - 5x8 hour days, Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p. No weekends, no holidays, no on call
Pay Range - $2500 - $2700 Weekly Gross
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform obstetric ultrasounds across all trimesters.
- Conduct gynecologic exams, including pelvic, transabdominal, and transvaginal scans.
- Capture high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Identify and document normal and abnormal findings.
- Prepare, educate, and ensure comfort and safety of patients during exams.
- Communicate professionally without giving diagnostic conclusions to patients.
- Collaborate with OB/GYN providers, radiologists, and the healthcare team.
- Assist with urgent, high-risk, and STAT cases.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
- Follow proper sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols.
- Document all measurements, images, and exam details accurately in EMR systems.
Requirements
- Must have their RDMS in obstetric specialty.
- Must have at least one year of experience in sonography
- BLS
