Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Ultrasound Technologist skilled in both vascular and general ultrasound to join our mobile imaging team. This role is ideal for a sonographer who values independence, variety in their work environment, and direct collaboration with physicians and clinical teams.
As a mobile technologist, you’ll perform diagnostic ultrasound exams on-site at partner clinics and facilities, ensuring the highest level of image quality and patient comfort.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality vascular and general ultrasound studies according to established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with professionalism and care
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Travel to multiple clinical sites in the Southwest Virginia region
- Upload and transmit studies securely for interpretation
- Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow HIPAA and safety standards
Qualifications
- ARDMS or CCI certification (RVT, RDMS, or RVS required)
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience preferred (mobile experience a plus)
- Proficient in vascular, abdominal, small parts, and OB/GYN imaging
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality imaging
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
