Travel Ultrasound Technician – Breast Sonographer

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist – Breast Sonographer for an assignment in a leading breast imaging department. The ideal candidate will be ARDMS certified in Breast (BR), demonstrate excellent technical skills, and be confident working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
This position is perfect for an experienced breast sonographer with strong diagnostic and reporting abilities, and prior travel experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
- Identify and document abnormalities; collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Work independently while adhering to departmental and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Certification:
- ARDMS Registered – Breast (BR) certification required
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent breast sonography experience
- Licensure: Current applicable NYS State License
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
- Travel Experience: Required (must have completed at least one previous travel contract)
- Must be able to work independently and complete required written reports
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $58.00 - $71.00 per hour
