Cone Health is seeking skilled and versatile Travel Radiology Technologists for exciting opportunities within our leading healthcare system. We have openings for two distinct specialties and are looking for qualified candidates to join our team. This is a perfect opportunity for a technologist with dual expertise or for specialists looking to join a renowned network.
We are hiring for the following specialties:
1. CT / X-Ray Technologist
- Location: MedCenter Greensboro
- Schedule: 3x12-Hour Days (06:00 - 18:00), Friday - Sunday
- Contract Duration: 16 Weeks
- Weekly Hours: 40
2. Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technologist
- Location: MedCenter for Women
- Schedule: 4x9-Hour Days (07:15 - 16:45), Rotating Days, Monday - Friday
- Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
- Weekly Hours: 40
Key Responsibilities (Varies by Specialty):
For the CT/X-Ray Tech Role:
- Perform a wide range of CT and X-Ray procedures in both Emergency Department and Outpatient settings.
- Conduct CT scans including Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Brain Perfusion, and Vascular CTAs.
- Perform X-Ray procedures on extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal systems.
- Operate Siemens and Samsung X-Ray equipment, PACS, and portable machines.
- Prepare and administer contrast media, and perform venipuncture and peripheral IV starts.
For the Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Tech Role:
- Perform detailed perinatal ultrasounds for high-risk obstetric patients.
- Conduct 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-trimester scans, including fetal anatomical surveys, amniotic fluid index, and umbilical cord Doppler.
- Utilize specialized skills for procedures such as transvaginal scans.
- Operate Samsung Hera W10 and Samsung RS85 Prestige ultrasound systems.
- Work within an AIUM-accredited, Maternal Fetal Medicine environment.
Minimum Requirements for All Candidates:
- Certifications:
- CT/X-Ray Tech: ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT), BLS Certification.
- MFM Ultrasound Tech: ARDMS, ARDMS (OB/GYN), BLS Certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in the respective specialty. First-time travelers are encouraged to apply!
- Charting System: Proficient in Epic.
- Compliance: Must be able to complete all compliance requirements by the deadline. License must be in hand upon submission.
- Scheduling: Flexible and aware of zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
Additional Details:
- Float/Call: Float to other Cone Health campuses may be required. The MFM role has no call; please see individual role descriptions for specific float details.
- Patient Population: CT/X-Ray Tech will work with Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics. MFM Ultrasound Tech will work with an Adult/OB population.
- Vaccines: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required (medical/religious exemptions accepted).
