Health Carousel Travel Contract (W2): Vascular Sonographer – Syracuse, NY
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 40hrs/week; Thursday - Sunday, 8:30 pm to 7:00 am
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography
- Responsible for daily operations of the sonographic laboratory, patient schedule, daily equipment maintenance and Q/A.
- Be able to use independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings.
- Obtain appropriate medical history and communicate findings to radiologist.
- Facility Details: Teaching Facility; Trauma Level 1
- EMR: Epic
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of sonography experience
- RDMS Certification
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Graduate of ultrasound program accredited by the Council for Higher Education (CHEA), United States Department of Education (USDOE), that specifically conducts program accreditation in diagnostic medical sonography.
- Successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic sonography.
- Required registration by The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
Travel Compensation Package:
- Weekly Taxable: $1,920
- Weekly Per Diem: $1,414
- Total Weekly Gross: $3,334
