Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our dynamic team at NYCMC. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations that contribute to accurate diagnoses and patient care. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the overall health outcomes of our patients. This is a travel position that will take place in various office in offices where NYCMC is conducting outpatient cardiology consultations.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and standards.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures while providing clear instructions.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, documenting findings accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians to discuss results and assist in developing treatment plans.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
Requirements
- Certification as an Ultrasonographer (ARDMS or equivalent).
- Experience with Echocardiogram and vascular ultrasound procedures
- Proven experience in medical imaging and sonography techniques.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
