*Job Summary and Responsibilities*
Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled Imaging Tech I with expertise in Cardiac Catheterization procedures. The right candidate must have relevant certifications and a strong understanding of cath lab protocols. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential. - Perform imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain inventory and assist in ordering necessary supplies for the department.
- Capturing high-quality cardiac images
*Job Requirements*
- A minimum of two (1) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school or a BS or AA degree in Radiologic Technology in an AMA approved school.
- Cross-training in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography is required.
- ARRT License (national) required,
- CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification required.
- Certification in one modality required.
- AHA BLS required.
- AHA ACLS (must obtain within 90 days of start date)
- Fire Safety card required. (must obtain within 90 days of start date)
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
