Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sonography, with experience in vascular exams. Duties
- Conduct high-quality ultrasound examinations of the vascular system.
- Assist with ultrasound guided biopsies and vein ablation procedures.
- Complete tech reports and keep detailed records in the EMR.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, alleviate concerns, and provide compassionate care.
- Schedule patient appointments and preauthorizing procedures.
- Assist with ordering supplies and other office responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must be ARDMS and RVT (RVS) registered or registry eligible within 6 months of employment.
- Proven experience in vascular preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to ultrasound imaging.
- Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and software for diagnostic purposes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care while ensuring comfort and privacy during procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
