Ultrasound Technician – Part or Full-Time
Location: PrimeCare of Coral Gables – Coral Gables, FL
We are a busy, patient-centered primary care office seeking an experienced and certified Ultrasound Technician (Sonographer) to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, dependable, and passionate about providing high-quality imaging to support accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of ultrasound studies, including vascular, echocardiography, and abdominal imaging.
- Prepare patients and explain procedures in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure image quality for accurate interpretation.
- Coordinate with teleradiology groups for study interpretation.
- Maintain equipment and exam rooms in compliance with infection control and safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff to support integrated patient care.
Qualifications
- Certification: ARDMS with specialties in Abdomen (AB), Vascular (RVT), and Cardiac (RDCS) required; CCI or ARRT equivalent considered.
- Experience: 5 years preferred in vascular, echo, and abdominal ultrasound.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide an excellent patient experience.
- Proficiency with EMR systems (experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus).
- Knowledge of HIPAA and compliance standards.
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, but flexible
- No weekends or on-call shifts
