Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and interpreting the results to assist in patient care. Duties
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
- Perform interventional radiology procedures and cardiac catheterizations as needed.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations.
- Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety during procedures, adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of all imaging studies and findings.
- Provide guidance and education to patients regarding procedures and follow-up care.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology practices, technologies, and medical terminology.
- Participate in emergency medicine situations as required, especially within a Level I or Level II trauma center setting.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret imaging results.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Radiology.
- Proven experience in interventional cardiology and telemetry preferred.
- Strong understanding of sonography techniques and diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Familiarity with cath lab operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
