Responsibilities:
Mercy's Institute for Gynecologic Care is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech to work at our Columbia office. This position performs all ultrasound exams/procedures as ordered by our referring physicians. Position is accountable for all peripheral activities associated with each test/procedure, e.g. ID patient, educating patient and family members, validating order and ordering physician, completing all paperwork, completing all Meditech entries, transferring images, and ensuring that ordering physicians receive final results.
Qualifications:
Education and Work Experience:

- Must possess a high school diploma or GED.

- Must be a graduate of an Ultrasound accredited program with ARDMS certification.

- 3 years experience in general sonography.
- Certification Requirements:

- ARDMS – American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers

- Healthcare Provider Level CPR

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel
- Meditech (if applicable to position)
- Epic (if applicable to position)
- Performance Manager/NetLearning

- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following:

- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.

- Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.

Min: USD $37.75/Hr. Max: USD $67.95/Hr. Benefits:
