Job Summary:
The OB/GYN Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech performs medical sonograms within the OB/GYN clinic. Exercises professional judgment in performance procedures and provides safe patient care.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Minimum of 12 months of continuing education or practical experience in ultrasound.
Experience
- One year of practical experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
- Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Current American Heart Association's BLS/CPR certification on hire or within orientation period.
Skills And Abilities
- Competent in the use of a computer and computer systems.
- Excellent customer service skills.
