Job Description: Part-Time Ultrasonographer

We are a community-focused primary care practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare. We are expanding our in-office diagnostic capabilities and are seeking a skilled ultrasonographer to join our team on a part-time basis.
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Ultrasonographer to perform a variety of general diagnostic ultrasound exams. This position offers a flexible schedule with a commitment of 4 to 16 hours per week, ideal for professionals seeking part-time work or supplemental income.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations including, but not limited to:
- Thyroid
- Abdominal
- Soft tissue
- Testicular
- Vascular studies
- Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper documentation for physician interpretation.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment.
- Provide compassionate patient care, explain procedures, and address patient questions.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to support efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in general ultrasound.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred:
- Experience in vascular imaging (RVT certification a plus).
- Prior outpatient/clinic-based ultrasound experience.
