Essential Job Function
- Performs Ultrasound examinations
- Interacts with patients before, during and after examinations
- Maintains all records related to the exams
Scope of Responsibility
Knows the formal and informal department goals, standards, policies and procedures, which may include some familiarity of other departments within the company. Is sensitive to the interrelationship of both people and functions within the department.
Communication
Communicates with patients, staff members using tact and persuasion as appropriate requiring good oral and written communication skills.
Education
Required: Graduate from an Accredited Ultrasound program.
Experience
One year related work experience required performing Ultrasound examinations. Two years experience preferred.
Certification
Required: ARDMS Certification.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Reaching/Pushing by extending hand(s), wrist(s) or arm(s) in any direction (not above shoulder) for extended periods of time
- Grasping probe for extended period of time with hand and wrist

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
