Job Summary:
The Radiology Technologist will perform routine and advanced imaging procedures, support other imaging technologists, and ensure smooth patient flow. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts and campuses as needed.

- Perform all duties in a manner that protects the confidentiality of patients and does not solicit or disclose any confidential information unless it necessary for assigned job duties.
- Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs of each patient served.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care deemed appropriate by State and Federal agencies, hospital, and regulatory entities.
- Perform examinations/procedures as needed to assist in patient throughput within the scope of Manager's license(s), certification(s), and/or documented competencies.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and at other campuses as needed or required.
- Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS.
- Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions to the Director/Manager and/or Biomedical personnel; follow up accordingly.
Requirements:
Education/Skills
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted equivalent required.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- Radiography (R) by ARRT is required.
- State Licensure required.
Expected Licenses include:
- Texas: MRT by TMB
- Louisiana: LRT (R) or (F) by LSRTBE
- New Mexico: RRT by MIRTP NMED
