What You’ll Do
- Perform diagnostic sonographic imaging on appropriate anatomical regions per accepted protocols and radiologist preferences
- Accurately differentiate between normal and pathological findings using independent judgment
- Assist radiologists with interventional procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and drainages
- Prepare preliminary reports and contact referring physicians as needed
- Complete and sign patient screening forms; obtain informed consent and explain procedures clearly to patients
- Maintain patient comfort, care, and safety throughout the exam
- Ensure timely uploading of images and documentation into PACS
- Communicate any scheduling changes to front desk staff that may impact workflow
- Deliver exceptional service and care using AIDET principles in all patient and staff interactions
- Perform equipment quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and escalate problems as necessary
- Clean and maintain ultrasound equipment and exam rooms per infection control protocols
- Support daily operations of the ultrasound department, including supply inventory and ordering
- Assist with maintaining ACR accreditation requirements
- Participate in team meetings and continuous learning opportunities
- Comply with all company and department policies and training requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the radiologist or management
What You Bring
- Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is required; preference given to CAAHEP-accredited programs
- ARDMS certification in AB, OB required. Current ARDMS with certification VT preferred, or other pertinent areas may be required within 2 years of hire
- 3+ year of ultrasound experience preferred
- Professional, team-oriented attitude
- Passion for patient care and technical excellence
- American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS required
What We offer
- Pay range: $48.00 – $58.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Sign-on bonus: $10,000 for qualified candidates
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts (4/10s)
