Description
The purpose of the Lead Multi-Modality technologist is to ensure the highest level of patient service is achieved. The Lead Multi-Modality Tech must rotate on the schedule providing direct patient care in line with their certification, including “on call” and the Operating Room, when applicable. Must assist Leadership in departmental shift operations and will be responsible for assisting with training, evaluating and interviewing.
Estimated pay range for this position is $40.11 - $52.14 / hour depending on experience.

- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Abdomen.
- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
- CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Nuchal Translucency Quality Review.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist.
- ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist.
- Basic Life Support.
Additional Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
- Minimum 2 years as a technologist required.
- Minimum two years in an acute care setting preferred.
- ARRT certified.
- State of Florida certified Radiologic Technologist license required.
- Must possess advanced ARRT certification and registry in one or more of the following: CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, IVR.
- If non-ARRT certified, may be a graduate of an AMA approved school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and must possess a minimum of 2 of the following: ARDMS or CCI registered or eligible in cardiac sonography, ARDMS registered or eligible in vascular technology, and/ or ARDMS (RDMS) or eligible subspeciality (Abdominal, OB/GYN, Breast, Neuro) in sonography.
- Valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (BLS) status from American Heart Association.
- The Multi-Modality Lead Technologist must assist in the day-to-day operations of a multi-modality team in order to qualify including a multiple variation of the following Xray, Bone Density, Mammography, US, MRI, CT, Echo, NM and NT.
