Vice President of Sales – Medical Device
A pioneering medical technology company is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Sales to lead commercialization efforts for its next-generation imaging and therapeutic platform. This role will drive the go-to-market strategy, build a high-performing sales organization, and scale revenue across research, clinical, and commercial channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategy for cutting-edge neuromodulation and imaging technology targeting academic, research, and clinical institutions
- Build and lead a growing team of sales professionals, including field reps and technical sales engineers
- Drive early-stage revenue through R&D system reservations, pilot installations, and strategic partnerships
- Establish strong relationships with key opinion leaders, academic centers, CROs, and medtech innovators
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, regulatory, and marketing teams to align GTM efforts
- Report directly to executive leadership and contribute to company-wide growth planning
Requirements:
- 10+ years in medical device sales leadership, ideally with experience in imaging, neurotech, ultrasound, or therapeutic platforms
- Proven track record in scaling early-stage or pre-commercial technologies into revenue-generating businesses
- Strong network in academic medicine, neurology, psychiatry, or interventional radiology preferred
- Experience selling into hospitals, research centers, and innovative medtech startups
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven, and highly collaborative environment
