Title: Ultrasound Technologist - Ultrasound

The Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) performs diagnostic sonographic procedures as ordered by a staff physician or LIP with minimal supervision from the Manager of Imaging Services.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to aseptic techniques during procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide comfort.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret sonographic findings and contribute to patient care.
- Stay current with medical terminology and advancements in diagnostic radiology.
- Ensure compliance with BLS certification and acute care protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school of Medical Sonography or accredited health care service program
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of Recent experience as a Medical Sonographer in an acute care setting.
