Summary
This position will be responsible for imaging equipment services including but not limited to, human resources, development, implementation, integration, project management, inventory, and life-cycle of imaging equipment. This position will provide the critical data needed to track Key Performance Indicators, contract vs. in-house support, and analyze team performance, comparing against targets and benchmarks.
Job Duties
Leadership
Manage imaging team to consistently meet or exceed service level agreements (SLA), achieve service operation metrics, and time-and-materials commitments to customers.
Ensure efficient and effective utilization of labor and financial resources, including administration and management of overtime, PTO, travel, and expenses.
Evaluate the technical skills of imaging techs; identify and drive training and development opportunities; prepare and deliver performance reviews; serve as leader, coach, mentor, and advocate.
Proactively establish, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships by phone, email, and in-person visits.
Exercise independent judgment and discretion in making decisions and taking action, based on experience, knowledge, and Company policies and procedures.
Reporting & Analysis
Create and maintain reporting tool for monthly Key Performance Indicators and conduct analysis against targets and benchmarks.
Ensure accuracy of imaging assets are captured in CMMS including networked, IP addressed, MAC address, OS, Software Version, PHI/PII, and BAA/Chain of Custody.
Assist with managing imaging contracts, field service reports, signatures, time, materials, and cost.
Report cost saving initiatives.
COS (cost of service)
Full contract, first call, in-house support analysis
Account Management & Development
Build and maintain relationships with customers by employing interpersonal and conflict management skills.
Effectively collaborate with customers and vendors to develop win-win solutions.
Monitor each modality after setting financial and performance benchmarks.
Identify and pursue opportunities for business entry.
Manage financial performance.
Deliver Financial Commitments
Develops and manages all facets of HTM and hospital departmental budgets and financial reporting processes to meet or exceed financial commitments.
Provides counsel to client regarding purchases of new capital equipment.
Seeks out new business opportunities for HTM within assigned hospital, and delivers base business growth.
Education
Associate's Degree in related field required
Bachelor's Degree Bachelor of Science degree in Management, Computer Science, hospital administration, or like field is preferred
Experience
8 years diagnostic imaging field service experience with at least one of the following: Siemens, GE, Philips , Toshiba, Hatachi, Fischer, Hologic, similar equipment is required.
2 years leading Healthcare Technology Management field service technicians required
Licenses and Certifications
DL - Valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record required upon hire
IT-ILC - IT Infrastructure Library Certification preferred within 2 years of hire
Completion of Networking + Foundation course preferred within 2 years of hire
Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist(CRES), or Certified Healthcare Technology Manager (CHTM) preferred within 2 years of hire
Skills
Advanced knowledge in imaging modalities.
Advanced knowledge in state and federal regulatory compliance standards.
Superior knowledge in imaging life-cycles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent in human resource management
Travel Requirements
Local 30% Rounding, staff, EOC meetings, safety meetings, etc.
