What You'll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, and maintain a variety of imaging systems, including general X-ray, fluoroscopy, portables, C-arm, ultrasound, mammography, bone density, and CR systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing on diagnostic and imaging equipment.
- Diagnose complex malfunctions and restore systems to full operational status with minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate documentation on service activity, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, clinical staff, and external vendors to ensure optimal system performance.
- Deliver high-quality support with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and rapid issue resolution.
- Stay aligned with safety standards, healthcare regulations, and organizational protocols.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience working with general radiography and at least one or more of the following modalities: C-arm, mobile X-ray, CR, mammography, ultrasound, or cath lab systems.
- Proven ability to work on equipment from major OEMs; experience with Philips, GE, Siemens, Canon, or Hologic is a plus.
- Strong diagnostic mindset and technical aptitude with an emphasis on uptime and patient safety.
- Previous biomedical service or hospital-based tech experience preferred.
- Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Industry certifications such as CBET or OEM training are a strong advantage.
- Commitment to safety, detail, and reliability while working independently in the field.
